Akwa Ibom Assembly passes state map establishment bill into law

  Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, on Thursday, passed into law the Bill to provide for a Map for the State and other matters connected therewith.  The new law, which is cited as the Akwa Ibom State Map Establishment Law 2023, was passed during the plenary and is expected to take effect from April 13, 2023. This followed a report of the Joint Committee on Lands and Housing, Boundary and Conflict Resolution and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, presented by its Chairman, Sir Udo Kierian Akpan (Oruk Anam). According to the report, the Bill sponsored by Hon. David Lawrence (Eket) will help reduce agitations and communal conflicts, enhance and promote development within the mapped-out boundaries. The report further stated that “The Bill will enhance cultural affinities of the people within the boundaries and make for easy identification and placements. I no longer have manhood – Bobrisky reveals

  Popular Nigerian cross-dresser and social media personality Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, better known as Bobrisky, has revealed that he no longer has male genitals. The controversial celebrity disclosed this recently in a social media post. According to him, he now has thick thighs with a sexy shape. He wrote, “I no longer have a manhood, just thick thighs with sexy shape that come with a v.” The 31-year-old has openly declared being a transgender woman and LGBT personality despite the law in Nigeria stating that same-sex relationships are punishable by up to 14 years imprisonment. On 8 July 2021, the cross-dresser revealed a new physical appearance after surgery to become more feminine.

Tinubu is dead, Sanwo-Olu reacts

Former Head of Service in Lagos State, Alhaji Rafiu Tinubu is dead.   Tinubu died in Abuja on Wednesday at the age of 75, after a brief illness. A statement signed by Mr Gboyega Akosile, Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, described Tinubu’s death as a huge loss to the state and the nation in general. Sanwo-Olu sympathized with Tinubu’s family, the deceased’s friends and associates, saying: “Alhaji Tinubu’s demise came at a time the nation and Lagos in particular needed his wealth of experience the most.” “As experienced administrator per excellence, we certainly will miss the late Alhaji Tinubu’s counsel on matters of importance in the state civil service.” The Governor said people of the state would always remember the “laudable achievements” of the former top civil servant, who, he said, served the state meritoriously for 26 years before he rose to become the Head of Service. Nigerian Army General, Hassan Ahmed murdered in Abuja, sister abducted

  Major General Hassan Ahmed, a former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, has been assassinated in Abuja. He was murdered Thursday night in the Abaji area of the nation’s capital. The assailants kidnapped his sister, Safina Ahmed (initially mistaken for the wife). A source close to the family told DAILY POST that the siblings were coming from Okene when they were attacked. “They opened fire on his vehicle, he died. The driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the sister away,” the informant said. DAILY POST further gathered that General Ahmed was exposed during the incident as he didn’t move with an escort. The deceased was chauffeured by his driver, Sergeant Bukar in a Toyota Hilux with a private plate number. The body of Ahmed has been conveyed to the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) Hospital in Abuja.    Nigerian rap artiste, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvc has disclosed that singer Davido revealed to him that he spent $60,000 (almost 28 million naira) on teeth whitening. The ‘Declan Rice’ crooner disclosed via his Twitter page on Thursday. He said Davido called him on video and he queried why his teeth were so white, and he told him it cost him $60,000. Odumodublvc added that it is outrageous to spend a whopping $60,000 just on teeth whitening. He wrote, “Davido’s teeth is 60k USD How I take know I see am for real life, I say “guy why your teeth white like this?’ Him say: Hahaha E video call me I say: Guy, why your teeth white like this E say: 60k n*gga!”
