Davido Reacts To Cheque's Public Apology

 30 BG boss Davido has reacted to a public apology issued by singer Cheque following a video shared by the artist.

Fans on social media had expressed their disappointment following a video shared by Cheque on his social media platform. The video, which has now been deleted, was said to have had Cheque looking at the picture of the multiple award-winning singer Davido's wife, Chioma.

Cheque took to his social media platform on Saturday, May 28, 2023, to issue a public apology to David, mentioning that he did not mean any form of disrespect. This apology has attracted a reaction from Davido, who quoted the apology with a love emoji.

  A Sabo-Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State, on Wednesday, refused an application by the police to formally arraign afrobeat singer Seun Kuti. Kuti, who was released from custody on Tuesday night, had been on remand for six days on the orders of the court.   The police had on May 16 applied for remand of the musician over alleged assault on a police officer. On Wednesday, Mr Cyril Ejiofor, who led a police legal team to the court, applied to the court to allow arraignment of the singer. He said that the application was to formally bring charges against Kuti. Kuti’s counsel, Mr Femi Falana (SAN), however, opposed the application. He argued that the police refused to send the case file to Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice, as directed by the Chief Magistrate, Mrs Adeola Olatubosun. A book titled End of Days: Predictions and Prophecies about the End of the World, written by Sylvia Browne, also predicted the global outbreak of coronavirus. The book was first published in 2008. Cabo Verde Airlines suspends flight to Nigeria over COVID-19

By ABDULLATEEF ALIYU, Lagos Cabo Verde Airlines which started operating to Nigeria with the launch of Lagos-Sal flight in December last year has suspended its flights following the outbreak of Covid-19. The suspension takes effect between March 16 and May 31st. The airline said it suspended the operation “due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation” which has caused many countries to impose a temporary ban on inbound travel from countries with large numbers of infections. In a statement, the airline said, “This situation has had a profound negative effect on the demand for passenger flights worldwide. “Considering both economic and environmental consequences it has become necessary for airlines to respond to the lower demand by reducing flight schedules. “Cabo Verde Airlines will provide a full refund to customers who purchased tickets for the cancelled flights,” the airline said in a statement.
